I always get into a reflective phase as the summer winds down. Last year, I crammed a LOT into my summer, which was awesome, and also put this pressure on my time that made re-entry into the school year pretty rough. Instead of a vice-grip, I feel like I held this summer a bit lighter, with more ease and spontaneity, and I’m feeling a lot calmer as it comes to an end.
How are you winding down your summer? Hit reply and lemme know.
PS: I’m running a free workshop at the end of September on Boss Mindset. If you’re an established freelancer, consultant, or solopreneur who is still being held back by employee-thinking, this one is for you. Click here for all the details.

What I’m Reading
Books
I went on a Daniel Pink binge this summer. I’ve loved every book that I’ve read of his, and To Sell is Human is no exception. This book normalizes selling and provides some amazing research behind why and how everyone can "sell" in their own way. I'd highly recommend it for everyone, but especially those of us who feel "weird" promoting ourselves.
“This is what it means to serve: improving another’s life and, in turn, improving the world.”
- Daniel Pink
