If this is your first time reading the Monthly Space Weather Forecast, here’s an overview of what this is and how to use it + other astrological resources if you are so inclined.
The first day of the month marks the pinnacle of the mercury retrograde. Issues we’ve been dealing with since late April will start to turn in a more positive direction, but we’re not in the clear yet.
The first week of the month also marks the second of two eclipses in this first cycle of the year. Eclipses, in general, have a hidden quality, which means huge changes may occur, but you don’t realize their full impact until much later. This eclipse, in particular, marks the end of an eighteen-month journey of release in some of the most intimate areas of our lives. Don’t be afraid to go within, keep your cards close to the vest, and purge what you feel done with.
The dark night of the soul vibes from the first week of the month will clear the path for fresh new energy starting the third week of May. Mercury will go direct, and Jupiter will move into a new area of the sky, where it will stay for the next year. This shift brings us to a place where we can take everything we’ve learned and bring it into the bright light of day. This is a good time for planning for something new.
Be careful with the forward motion, though. The end of the month may see us biting off more than we can chew with big plans that we can’t actually bring to fruition. Stay grounded and humble—don’t get too big for your britches.
