What I’m Reading
Books
At the recommendation of a friend who called this book “her bible” I picked up and quickly finished The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters by Priya Parker. Parker is an expert facilitator and teaches us how to curate every gathering we have from dinner parties to conferences, with a sense of honor and intentionality. I learned so many lessons from this book that I’m going to put into action in my work and life to create gatherings that are more meaningful for everyone involved.
“Gatherings crackle and flourish when real thought goes into them, when (often invisible) structure is baked into them, and when a host has the curiosity, willingness, and generosity of spirit to try.”
― Priya Parker
